I completely understand about being 'tired of defending your view and position'. I am constantly blasted and bashed for being catholic. I'm not a devoted one , I realize that man created doctrines and dogma. And they are fallable. But the most bashing I get, I find, are from christians that were at some point catholics. LOL!! The bottom line is that from my experience, they believe the church let them down. When in fact, God was always there. HE never left them, they left HIM. I could go on but maybe I'm running long already. Maybe I'll blog something about my experiences.
I'm a scifi freak, so aliens and ufos are not that far fetched for me. But I don't understand the silence for 40 years. The pope says 'aliens are our brothers' and everyone comes clean? hmm. Has to fit in somewhere.

At 2:17pm on February 17th, 2008, Only His said…: Hey Jerry - I LOVE the Armour of God message. Thank you. I haven't been on the site very much at all lately. My Dad had a very serious stroke about a month ago, and I've just been preoccupied. I continue to be just amazed at the goodness of Our Lord. I find myself drinking in His Word, and seeing so very much for the first time. Right now, I'm really digging into Jude. It's a small book, but gives us sooo many clues to what's going on right now. I'll blog about it, when I can. Honestly, I am reluctant to put out too much about my summations, as I want to be careful not to give out wrong information. I don't mean to be so wordy, but let me tell you what happened to me this weekend, and I know it's small, but it meant so much to me. I do a lot of painting, I always have. I just cannot sit still, and listen to podcasts, etc., and I must have my hands busy. As you can imagine, over the past few months to a year, my time listening to Chris, Frank, Chuck Missler, and others every once in a while, I paint A LOT. OK... to my point. I use old fashioned weird stamps, and a lot of advertising from the 30's through the 50's in my art work. A dear friend of mine came over, opened up the trunk of her car, and asked me if I'd be interested in a "Bunch" (literally hundreds and hundreds) of old stamps, and issues of National Geographic, from, you guessed it, the 30's through the 50's. She doesn't know about the stuff paint! I just was so grateful to her, for listening to the nudge of the Holy Spirit, and to The Lord, for letting me know just how much He cares.

It's also funny but people generally think of a witch in a very different light... this girl has a very gentle spirit, even though it's the wrong one! I guess the enemy doesn't care how your brought down, just so long as you are! Sad...
